Fixing A Crashed Laptop Hard Disk

 One fine day you are working on your laptop when all of a sudden you hear this loud noise. It means  your hard disk has crashed.  A hard disk crashing can be the most  frustrating experience. Not only does it mess up your day but you could end up losing valuable files as well. Fortunately  fixing a crashed laptop  hard disk is possible. Here is how:

Delete the Software on the Damaged Hard Disk
Delete all the software on the damage hard disk and make sure you back up all your files on an external hard drive so as to avoid losing them. next download the newest version of the boot cd,  create a blank CD with  a CD burner and thencopy the files on the blank CD.

Turn on the Laptop with your  Damaged Hard Disk
Turn on the hard drive with your  damaged hard disk and enter your BIOS Settings. Then, with the help of your arrow buttons look for a section called Boot Order.The BOOT order must start with the CD drive or the USB flash drive, depending on which operating system you are using. And finally , save  the changes and then click on exit. The laptop will then restart.

Scroll With Your Arrow Keys
Next, scroll with your arrow keys , press enter and select "Hard Disk Tools Section." You then look for "Partition Tools"  and run the program "PTDD Super Fdisk." Next  choose the option for a surface test to check your hard disk for defects. This test checks every section of the hard drive  to see whether it is physically damaged. Depending on the size of the hard drive, this test should take a few hours.Once the software determines the existence or non-existence of damage to the hard drive move on to the next step.

Next, select the option to "delete partition" and then delete all exisiting partitions, using the onscreen instructions.Choose a File System depending on the operating system on your hard drive. The software should create a new partition and format the drive. And finally get ready to install your operating system by firt, rebooting your laptop, and then inserting your Operating System CD.
