First, Disassembly of the Laptop Screen
Remove The Rubber Seals
First remove the rubber seals covering the screws on the screen's upper frame using a flathead screwdriver. Then remove the screws and slowly separate the frame from the screen with your fingers. You then release the plastic latches holding the frame and then remove the frame.
Remove The Screens Holding The Support Brackets
Next, remove the screens holding the support brackets. You should see the video cable attached to the back of the display screen. Now unplug and re-plug the cable to ascertain whether the cable is seated properly....This should determine whether the the video cable is the cause of the screen line problem.

If there is a change, then the problem is from the video cable. Next move the laptop screen around to check whether the display is also affected here as well. If it is affected , the video cable may be the culprit here as well .
Finally, move the laptop screen around to check whether the screen is affecting the display. If so, the problem could be from the laptop screen itself and may need replacing. You then go down to Amazon.com if you need a new laptop screen.
