- Remove power cable, hard drive and memory sticks from your laptop
- Remove all screws holding the laptop to the keyboard base.
- Use Your flathead screwdriver to separate the keyboard from the laptop. you then remove You then separate the bezel, located along the keyboard, from the motherboard.
- If there are hinge covers, remove them and separate cables connecting the LCD display to the motherboard
- Carefully remove all screws connecting the LCD to the laptop base. then carefully remove the display from the laptop base
- Remove screws connecting both sides of the display. Separate the front bezel from the LCD display cover.Carefully remove the LCD display from the cover. Then unplug the video cable before removing the screen.
- Remove all screws holding the old hinges to the display cover and then replace the old hinges with the new hinges.
- Finally, put your laptop back together by doing the reverse of the above steps.
